SUMMER 2022 Workshops

ZANY PLAY – July 5 – 8 (Grades K-2)

This Creative Dramatics based class explores fundamental theatre skills through games, improvisation, voice & movement, and storytelling. Students will also create their own theatre mask, allowing for greater freedom to express themselves while playing with different types of characters. 

Running Tues – Friday, July 5 -8 from 9am-12pm

STEP, KICK, SING – July 5 – 8 (Grades K-2)

This one-week half-day camp is filled with games, singing and dancing for every child! Using musical theatre as our foundation of song and dance, students will practice basic performance building while singing and dancing.  Instructors will guide the class through breath and body work to support the text and intentions of musical theatre material.  This workshop will increase your child’s confidence and collaborative imagination. 

This workshop runs Tuesday – Friday, July 5-8 from 1pm-4pm

THEATRICAL MUSE: DRAMA & COMEDY- July 25-30 (Grades 3-6)

A muse is a source of inspiration. In this workshop, students will use movement, speech, imagination and feelings to explore how we develop and communicate through characters on-stage. Focusing on improv and devised theatre exercises, students will examine comedic and dramatic character types to develop their own theatrical piece. This workshop will allow for solo and ensemble work. 

This workshop runs Monday-Friday, July 25-30 from 9am-3pm.


DIP YOUR TOES INTO MUSICAL THEATRE – August 1 – 5 (Grades 3-6)

Come share your voice, tap your toes and join in song for DIP YOUR TOES – IN MUSICAL THEATRE. This half-day week-long workshop focuses on STORYTELLING through MUSIC.  Students will gain skills and learn how to have command over a piece. This workshop will culminate in a presentation for family and friends. Whether you have experience or you are just curious…All levels of experience are welcome!

This half-day workshop runs Monday – Friday from 1PM – 4PM from August 1 – 5.
